Welcome to the Discipleship Trail!
If you're a Christian, you are called to follow Christ. Sadly, many people do not know how or are unsure what it means. That's why, at LRBC, we help each other by using the Discipleship Trail.
The Trail has 4 points of interest or trail markers. These represent the journey of Christian faithfulness as we follow the footsteps of Jesus.
1. Conversion is where we all must begin. If you have never truly repented and put your faith in Christ, this is your sign to 'hit the trail.'
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." - John 14:6
2. Community is where we begin to learn and grow. The church is a people, not a building. Jesus called His followers to action through instituting the church.
3. Capabilities is where we learn how God has gifted us to serve the church and the world.
4. Continue in Growth is another way of saying to persevere. We are all called to make disciples, and as we mature, we must constantly learn how to leverage our lives for the sake of Christ.
